The Patel LED 12VDC Accent Series Dotless COB LED Strip Light is designed to deliver flawless, dot-free illumination with advanced Chip-on-Board (COB) technology. Featuring 528 LEDs per meter and a high CRI >90, it produces up to 1400 lumens per meter of bright, accurate light without visible hotspots, making it ideal for kitchens, shelves, accent walls, retail displays, and other indoor applications. The strip offers selectable color temperatures — Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4000K), and Cool White (6000K) — giving you flexibility to create the perfect ambiance. Each reel measures 5m (16.4ft) and comes equipped with strong 3M adhesive backing for quick, secure installation.
Engineered for customization, the strip can be cut every 2.46 inches at clearly marked solder pads, allowing precise length adjustments without waste. Multiple strips can be connected end-to-end or around corners using solderless COB connectors, 20–24 gauge wire, or soldering, ensuring smooth, continuous runs. For enhanced performance and a professional finish, pairing the strip with Patel LED aluminum mounting channels is recommended.
Operating on 12V DC constant voltage, the strip consumes 14W per meter (70W per reel) with a current draw of approximately 1.2A per meter. To ensure reliable performance, always size your power supply with 10–20% additional capacity. Compatible with plug adapters, soldered leads, or screw terminals, it offers versatile connection options.
The Patel LED COB Strip is also fully dimmable, giving you precise control over brightness. For low-voltage setups, use 12V PWM dimmers between the strip and dimmable power supply, or pair it with a dimmable 12V power supply for use with standard wall dimmers such as Lutron or Leviton.

Q2: Can I power it with USB?
A: No. The strip requires 12V DC, while USB only provides 5V.
Q3: Is this waterproof?
A: No, it is IP20 indoor-rated. For damp or outdoor use, enclose it in waterproof housing.
Q4: How much power does it use?
A: 14W per meter. A full reel uses ~70W. Always oversize your power supply.
Q5: Can I bend it at sharp angles?
A: No. Use strip-to-wire connectors with a short wire for 90° corners.
Q6: Can it be used in high-heat areas (saunas)?
A: Not recommended. Excessive heat will damage the strip.
Q7: Is it available in RGB?
A: This model is available only in selectable white (3000K / 4000K / 6000K). RGB COB models are coming soon.
Q8: What are the dimensions?

Q9: Can I create curves or circles?
A: The strip flexes lengthwise but not for tight bends. For curves, cut into smaller sections and reconnect.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
